Tjanabi offers three separate areas that may be used separately or combined to suit individual style and capacity requirements. We also offer catering so you can enjoy unique Australian fusion cuisine in your desired setting, with our experience ranging from intimate dinner parties to large outdoor setting for hundreds.

Jarrah Room - Seats up to 110 people inside.
The dining room is fitted out with artisan designed timber tables made from reclaimed timbers such as 300 year old Jarrah and Red Gum. When combined with Tjanabi outside seating, the combined dining area capacity is increased to 200. |

Tjanabi Terrace - Accommodates up to 400 guests.
Overlooking the Atrium and the Flinders Street-scape, Tjanabi ‘s Terrace is suitable for very large groups for functions of up to 400, or may be combined, in warmer months to accommodate an extended dining area, seating over 200 people.

Karalina Room - Ideal for small functions of up to 100 with standing room.
This area can also be combined with either the dining Room to provide seated dining for up to 200 or with the Terrace to accommodate up to 300. |

The Atrium and BMW Edge
The Atrium and BMW Edge provide two additional locations for larger indoor events such as launches, fashion parades and corporate functions, complemented by the fresh and distinctly Australian style of Tjanabi’s cuisine. The design of the Atrium was inspired by Melbourne's laneways and arcades, providing an elaborate cocoon of steel and glass and suitable for functions of up to 1000 attendees.
The BMW Edge with its glass 'skin' is a modern amphitheatre and enjoys views of the Yarra River, Alexandra Gardens, Melbourne Cricket Ground and the Victorian Arts Centre spire, with a seating capacity of 450 people.

Tjanabi is a fully accessible restaurant and we are able to provide a full range of facilities for your function, including sound systems and audio visual hire. To make your experience even more memorable, we can arrange entertainment by Indigenous dancers, musicians and performers for your function.
